GATEACRE COMP SITE, LIVERPOOL
Web Pages from the Gateacre Society

In NOVEMBER 2014 it was announced that Countryside Properties are proposing to build 202 houses on the site of the former Gateacre Community Comprehensive School, between Cuckoo Lane and Grange Lane in Liverpool L25. A leaflet - the contents of which are reproduced here - was delivered to residents in the immediate vicinity by the planning consultants, Turley of Manchester, and a 'drop in' public consultation session was held. Residents were invited to return a Feedback Form or to email Turley with their comments.

IN MARCH 2015 a planning application - ref. 15F/0516
- was submitted by Countryside Properties (UK) Ltd to Liverpool City Council: "To erect 200 dwellings with associated landscaping, roads and new accesses to Grange Lane and Cuckoo Lane". Residents and other interested parties were invited to send comments to the City Council's Planning Department.

On the following pages, with the permission of the residents concerned, we have reproduced some of the comments which have been made. If you would like your own comments to be published here, please let us know
