8. The detail designs will consider all options regarding turning traffic and appropriate swept paths into the site. There may be too little road width for a ghost right turn island but the detail design will inform this.

9. I cannot confirm this. If ALDI wanted to remove the bus lay-by from their designs that would be of their choice however, it may not receive support as there is a need to provide Bus accessibility to the development.

10 It is for the Highway Authority to consider what is necessary under a s278 agreement. The planning condition relates to the developer/applicant entering into such an agreement. The descriptive content is to remove any doubt as to what the developer is likely to be asked to undertake as part of their s278 highway works.

11. In providing an answer to this query I also mentioned that it is unlikely that with the addition of the development traffic that significant displacement of traffic will occur, as such there will be little increase in traffic using wider alternative routes.
